The History of Manufacturas Correli

Founded in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico in 1990, Correli has grown from a local business into an international loofah and bath product manufacturer. In early 1990, Mr. Gerardo Corrales completed his extensive research on the growth and harvesting of the cylindrical loofah sponge; and the vast possibilities of manufacturing and commercializing various loofah products. Less then a year later, the first distribution channels were established and Manufacturas Correli began shipping its first products to customers.

In 1994, the business was entirely incorporated under the name of Manufacturas Correli, S. A. de C. V., offering a variety of brands including Suavesponja, Fregasuave and Frotarico. These well positioned brands are widely recognized in national markets and are sold in large retail outlets.
